Women’s Care Team
The Riverside Women’s Care Team works in tandem with church leadership to assist in and supplement our care for women in the church, shepherding them as the daughters of God and vital members of the Body of Christ.
Vision

Gospel Women On Mission In Community
The Table
Jesus spent a lot of his time gathered around the table with friends. Our guard is down, encouraging words are shared, and fellowship happens when we take the time to look one another in the eye and share a meal or activity around the table. The Table happens four times a year–two are more “testimony” focused so we can listen and learn from one another as we walk with Jesus. The other two are more craft/activity focused (Spring and Christmas themed) to give women the opportunity to share a skill or gift as we gather to learn and hopefully have fun together!
Summer Bible Study
We want to be women of the Word who “taste and see that the Lord is good”! As small groups “break” for the summer, women can still gather together around God’s Word over the course of 8 weeks. Part of being made in the image of God means we have minds that can engage in deep study of Scripture, seeking to know our Creator and make Him known. The hope of the Summer Bible Study is to meet each woman, whether first-time visitor or long-time member, wherever they are (and as summer schedules allow!) by providing a diverse and engaging learning experience as we walk through Scripture together. Our hope is that what women learn during this time encourages their personal Bible study, engagement in Small Group discussions, and inspires/equips women to lead Bible studies of their own with friends/neighbors/co-workers!
Women’s Retreat
While we seek to honor God in the day-to-day of what He has called us to, we also seek to follow the example of Jesus in retreating from our normal routines to more intimately engage with, hear from, and rest in the presence of our good Father. To currently steward our finances well, we’ll rotate each year between an out-of-town retreat and in-town retreat/conference.
