Grad Group- Fall Kick-off Discussion, Sept. 13th
Sept. 13, 7:30 p.m.
School's back- it's time again for the grad group to kick off their Fall discussions. Meet at Delaney's in Five Points at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 13th. They'll be reading various essays that inform how we think about bringing the wealth of the Christian tradition to bear in the current cultural conversation, especially within the academy, and our research/field of study in particular. Daybreak Fund-raising Banquet
Oct. 5th
Daybreak (www.pregnancycolumbia.com), Columbia's crisis pregnancy center, is having its annual fundraising banquet Tuesday, Oct. 5th. While getting a "taste" of local restaurants, the audience will be hearing from a former national Planned Parenthood director who saw the truth about abortion and has come to the light. More details to follow, but keep it on your radar!
Summer of Giving
All summer, 2010
Glenstone Chapel, a plant of Church at Charlotte, has offered $500 to each of our small groups to use in reaching out to the city. Each group that participates will be responsible for using/giving the money away by end of summer (Sept. 20). On September 26th, there will be a service to celebrate what God does!
