Coffee Fellowship - 10:15-10:45 AM
Second Service - 10:45 AM
It is our desire to create an atmosphere of love and grace where the truths of Scripture are taught and enjoyed, while also meeting the developmental needs of the whole child and their family. We believe parents are the best disciples of their children and we desire to empower them to live a Gospel-infused life so that their children will learn to thrive in relationship with God and others. Our kids are engaged in learning about God’s redemptive plan for humanity through a focused an in-house creative curriculum based on the book, Seamless: Understanding the Bible as One Complete Story. While most children’s Bible stories and curriculum reveal a moral lesson, we strive to teach our kids how God always had a plan to save His people and how he continues to save through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We have many opportunities for you to jump in with us to teach our kids about Jesus on Sunday mornings. Our ministry engages over 70 kids each Sunday during the school year with the gospel and we need people like you to help show our kids how much Jesus loves them by guiding, laughing, singing, praying, encouraging, and being a friend to them.
Our classroom leaders are where most people start serving with us. Classroom leaders always work in pairs and are responsible for shepherding the kids from their crafts, to snacks, to the lesson and worship room where our teaching team to teach them. Classroom leaders are also responsible for classroom behavior along side our coordinators. Our class leaders serve as often as every week, twice a month, or once a month. You will be part of a team of people for that age group and will self-schedule so you can work out when you will be on vacations and out-of-town.
Don’t worry if you have never served before, or even if it has been a while, we will have a mandatory training on August 19 @ 12:30. At this training you will work with each other to fill out rhythms and schedules for your classrooms. We are also working hard to make this team training and appreciation lunch a fun time that you won’t want to miss. There may even be some give away prizes!
Also new this year, we are asking that everyone tries to commit to serving with the team for a full school year. Our older kids classrooms (5K and up) will take breaks during the Advent and Summer seasons. This will help us build some consistency for the kids and momentum with our team and ministry. If you have any questions, please just click the button below and let us know. We look forward to having you on our team helping all of these children meet Jesus.
